Touring the Touron

10-12 June (Long Weekend)

Fantastic (but cold) weather was enjoyed over the long weekend. The journey started at Bylong where a few camped Friday in readiness for the meeting next morning. Then traveled to Hillend via Rylestone for morning tea. Lunch at Hill End but too easy to order a lunch at the pub and sit in front of the open fire. Camped on the river and a good night had around the roaring fire. Then onto The Diggings campsite. Traveled the length of The Bridle track. Travelled home on the Monday and greeted by the holiday traffic coming along Bells Line of Road. Great weekend and thanks to Lachy for leading the crew through the great tracks and trails and getting us back out again.
