Digital Mapping Awareness - 19th September 2026

The 'Digital Mapping Awareness' course was a new offering from Lachy with a small group of members meeting in the morning to learn how to draft a route using a combination of Memory Maps and Google Maps. After planning their route they ventured into the Watagans to put their skills to the test before using more traditional paper maps to pinpoint their location the old-school way. A fantastic lesson in navigating both with and without internet and gps technology.
