The Central Coast Four Wheel Drive Club’s recent donation of a professional Blower Vac worth $1000 to the Dungog Rural Fire Service was received enthusiastically by the “firies”
Up until now, they have had to rake firebreaks by hand, a hot and exhausting job around a fire ground. The new blower vac will will also be used to assist in back-burns.
Our club has a long association with the Dungog district and always tries to give to the community, whether it be by helping farmers to repair fences after a flood, shopping locally or attending local events.

Central Coast group’s generous donation to Dungog RFS

Our annual club Christmas Party will be held on Saturday 26th November, 2016 at We-Leaser.
The Christmas party is always a great opportunity for everyone to get together, with activities to suit all age groups. We will again be providing dinner for participants.
Please complete the registration form and make payment as per the instructions in the latest magazine, as soon as possible to assist our Social Co-Ordinator with planning.

I’ve been with the 4WD Club for 4 years now and every monthly meeting I see the piston broke trophy get handed out to some poor unfortunate member who unfortunately either damaged their vehicle or it required the most repairs over the preceding period since the last general meeting. I guess sooner or later your time comes up and last month was mine.

Young Ben being presented with a cheque by President Shane for $995.00 from the Central Coast 4wd Club at a Trivia night held for Ben last month, also $100.00 was donated back by the winning trivia team (The Goat Herders) in total over $5,000.00 was raised to help Ben where needed. A great night was had by all who attended. Ben is a grandson of one of our club memebers who was involvded in a car accident. This is just some of the charity work that the club is involved in every year, we love helping out where we can.
